White Pearl Paint Colors are made with special pearlescent coloring agents to have a rich shimmer that comes in a variety of sizes and colors. In contrast to metallic colors, pearl pigments themselves will emit a colored shimmer, whereas metallic pigments themselves will emit some form of silver. Generally, pearl colors are two-stage systems, where a pearl base color is applied and then cleared, or a three-stage system, where a solid base color is applied, followed by a pearl midcoat and a protective clear coat.
